What do you want to know about your sample?
Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) DSC tests are commonly used for investigation, selection, comparison and end-use performance evaluation of materials in research, quality control and production applications. Properties measured by DSC techniques include:
Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) FTIR tests are commonly used for identification, qualification, comparison and reproducibility of materials in research, quality control and production applications. FTIR techniques include fingerprinting, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of unknown mixtures. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometers (FTIR) measure the absorption of a progression of infrared light wavelengths by a material. With this qualitative analysis, one can qualify the presence or absence of a raw material in a mixture or a monomer in a pre-polymer. The FTIR of the mixture is scanned and its spectrum is overlaid with the spectra of candidate ingredients. Common ingredients have common absorbance positions and correlations can offer indications of ingredient commonality.
